G1/G2 - Final Exam.  All textbooks due today.   Have a great summer! :)

G3 - Two final presentations.  Passed back Comparative Analysis papers.  I am still working on the trends, but all final presentations have been graded and posted.  Will have all grades final by the deadline in the morning.  8 Trend papers to go, and summer will be here for me! :)  Will update you tomorrow.  Good luck, and God Bless! :)

May 21, 2012 (Gold)

G1/G2 - Passed back graded work.  Binder Quiz.  After the Binder Quiz, students worked on or studied their review sheets for the Final Exam.  Assignment: Final Exam on Wednesday.  Please bring your textbook to turn in at that time.  Good luck! :)

G3 - FINAL TREND ANALYSIS AND COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS PAPERS DUE BY 3:30 PM.  The first three groups presented their final presentations today.  Students brought food in, and we had a "working lunch" in the Cougar Meeting Room.  Assignment:  Final two presentations on Wednesday.  Be sure to get your papers to me by 3:30 today!

May 18, 2012 (Blue)

B2/B3/B4- Passed back graded work.  Binder Quiz.  After the Binder Quiz, students worked on or studied their review sheets for the Final Exam.  Assignment: Final Exam on Tuesday.  Please bring your textbook to turn in at that time.  Good luck! :)

May 17, 2012 (Gold)

G1/G2 - Finished watching O Brother, Where Art Thou?  Students completed the worksheet for the movie.  Passed back graded work.  For the rest of the block, they worked on their Final Review Sheet and worked on organizing their binders.  Assignment:  Binder Quiz on Monday.

G3 - Binders DUE.  Students worked on presentations and final drafts all period today.  Assignment:  Final Presentations #1, 2, 3 on Monday.  Final Comparative Analysis and Trend Analysis DUE on Monday by 3:30 pm.  Students decided to bring food in on Monday... we'll have lunch and presentations in the Cougar Meeting Room that day.

B2/B3/B4 - Finished watching O Brother, Where Art Thou?  Students completed the worksheet for the movie.  Passed back graded work.  For the rest of the block, they worked on their Final Review Sheet and worked on organizing their binders.  Assignment:  Binder Quiz on Friday.

G1/G2 - Students watched O Brother, Where Art Thou?  They were asked to take detailed notes on the worksheet they started in class last time.  There will be questions over the comparison between the movie and the story on the final exam.  Assignment:  None!  Binder Quiz on Monday.

G3 - Passed back rough drafts of Comparative Analysis and Trend Analysis papers.  Students were given the entire block today to work on their revisions or their final presentations.  Groups also signed up for their time slots for the presentations.  Assignment: Work on final drafts and final presentation.

G1 - Passed back graded work.  Students in this class took Vocab. Test #2.  Today, we finished reading "Death in the Great Hall," then we finished the story by reading "The Trunk of the Olive Tree."  Students completed the  study guide for this portion of the story and turned it in.  For the rest of the block, students worked on the Odyssey side of the worksheet they will use to analyze the movie.  This analysis should be DETAILED with loads of information and examples.  I do not want to see any white space.  Assignment:  Finish the Odyssey side of the worksheet.  We will watch the movie next time.

G3  - Rough Drafts of the Trend paper DUE today by 3:30pm.  Returned Comparative Critique Final Drafts.  Passed out information about the Final Presentations.  Assignment:  Read the handout regarding the Final Presentations.  Be ready to work on revisions to these Trend papers and your presentations in class on Tuesday.
