B2/B3 - Comparative Critique Charts (Draft #1) DUE. I passed back Rough Drafts of the Critique in B2 and half of them in B3 today. I checked charts while groups worked together to create a sample analysis paragraph from their group charts and some research-based analysis questions for the fifth paper (list of questions on Moodle). After sharing and discussing those samples, students worked on Draft #2 for the rest of the block. Assignment: Complete Draft #2 for next time. This should be a thesis statement and your three well-developed analysis paragraphs. We'll add the rest of the introduction, the conclusion and the Works Cited page later this week. If you have not been reading the supplementary readings, please work on those. I believe there are some very useful tips for helping you draft this paper. B2 and half of B3 - you have Final Drafts of the Critique paper due on Tuesday, March 8. I will return the rest of them to B3 on Wednesday.
B4 - Test Review Sheets and ALL Late Work DUE. PARENTS, DESPITE MULTIPLE ANNOUNCEMENTS AND REMINDERS IN CLASS THROUGHOUT THE QUARTER, NO ONE IN THIS CLASS TURNED IN ANY LATE WORK TODAY. I gave students a few minutes to study over their review sheets. Students took the test over To Kill a Mockingbird today, and I collected their novels at the end of the test. No Assignment!
