B1 - Instructions for today were sent out on Google Classroom earlier this week. They are also posted on Moodle. Students were asked to copy the Pre-Act III notes on the handout they were given in class last time. There is an extra copy posted on Moodle, if you need one. Next, they were asked to complete Elizabethan Words To Know Translation Exercise #3. I do not have this available electronically, so if you need one, I can send you something today if you email me. From there, students were given a few choices and loads of materials to choose from (all on Moodle). They are responsible for reading and understanding Act III: Scenes 1-3 and need to complete the corresponding review sheet. Assignment: Please have the Translation exercise and the Review Sheet finished for Friday. If you are unable to do this, please email me to let me know you need an extension. You will have a quiz over this material on Tuesday.
B3/B4 - Instructions were sent out earlier this week through Google Classroom. Students were asked to take notes over Logical, Emotional, and Ethical Appeals on the handout they were given in class last time. There is an electronic copy available on Moodle if you did not receive it from me. Next, they were asked to watch a viral video from a few years ago, and students needed to take notes as they watched the video to document several examples of the Logical, Emotional, and Ethical Appeals used in the video to hook the audience. Assignment: Please complete the notes and the worksheet for Invisible Children for next time. If you are unable to access the information and need an extension, please email me to let me know.
