B1 - We finished the last few minutes of the movie. Students were given about 30 minutes to wrap-up the Film Analysis Assignment, which was DUE by 9:15. For the rest of the block, students were given a review sheet and time in class to work on it. We went through most of it together in class by the end of the block. Assignment: Finish the review sheet and be prepared for the midterm over the book next time.
B3 - Snapshot Journal: Spring Break - Write a half-page snapshot journal about the moment you are most looking forward to on Spring Break. Include as many details in the image as possible. For Extra Credit, I want you to take pictures when/if that moment happens and write a half-page reflection about how that moment was similar/different from what you expected. Submit your response on Classroom by Tuesday, March 31 at the beginning of the block. From there, we had several Powerful People presentations. For the remainder of the block, students worked in their small groups to discuss the study guide questions for Book III: Chapters 1-2. Assignment: Finish the book for Friday.
